LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely thought of as the best player of all-time and often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James has taken home four NBA championships four NBA MVP award Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has the world record of the most number of points scored in the post-season. He is second in total career point total and seventh highest number of career assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times and for be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from the year 2011 until 2018. In 2021, James was chosen to join be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete to ever in NBA history to score 10,000 points or more in a career as well as assists and rebounds. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by the media. He was a prep-to pro and was selected as the highest choice of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of Year he soon established himself as one of the league's premier players winning an NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure the award with Cleveland, and left the city as"a "free agent" in 2010. This decision was made in the TV special The Decision.
