Audra McDonald's talent is unparalleled in its breadth and diversity in her roles as a performer, singer as well as an actor. In 2006, she joined WB's The Bedford Diaries. The following year, she appeared as in a regular role on NBC's Kidnapped. McDonald earned a fourth Emmy in her role as Lady Day in Emerson's Bar and Grill, which aired on HBO in 2016. The Bite is a drama featuring six episodes that are based on an epidemic, produced by Spectrum Originals & CBS Studios. She appeared alongside Taylor Schilling & Steven Pasquale. First appearing as U.S. attorney Liz Lawrence in 2009, on CBS's legal television drama The Good Wife in 2018 McDonald reprised her role (now known as Liz Reddick) as a regular in the season premiere of The Good Fight on Paramount+ with the three Critics Choice Award nominations for her performance. Presently, she is acting as a guest in Julian Fellowes' historical drama The Gilded Age, which premieres on HBO.
